"Nobody hands you a manual for medicine. The rules are learned by trial and error. I wrote the ones I wish I'd known sooner." Dr. Sonya Sloan
Why this course

Nobody told you the rules. I will.

Medical training has a rulebook. It just was never written down for you. I learned these rules the hard way, from some of the best in the field and some of the worst. You don't have to. If you feel like everyone else got a memo you missed, this is for you.

01

Know the game

Understand the unwritten rules of the hierarchy, so you stop getting blindsided on rotations and in residency.

02

Handle pressure without losing yourself

Stay calm, own your mistakes, and protect yourself and your patients when the stakes are high.

03

Keep your humanity and build your future

Deal with burnout and loss, take care of yourself, and start shaping your career and reputation now.

04

The feeling

Finish knowing someone has been where you are, and that you can do this.
